Security Technician / Electronics Installer

In addition to skilled technicians, we have an immediate need for Account Representatives who are skilled at developing sales through technical consultative selling. 

CSI seeks security technician / electronics installers with industry experience. The candidate should be familiar with installing and operating modern I.P. networked camera systems, access control, computer server systems, Video Management Software systems, etc.

Responsibilities may include: examining systems to diagnose problems such as loose connections or broken insulation, replace electronic components & hardware (i.e. cameras, door strikes, etc.), test backup batteries, program keypads and other security hardware, diagnose malfunctions, mount & fasten control panels, door & window contacts and sensors, attach electrical and Ethernet cabling to components, interpret blueprints of electrical layouts and building plans; pull cables through access points, plenum spaces, and walls to reach outlets and hardware, position and terminate cables, wires and strapping, evaluate installation sites and study work orders, building plans and installation manuals to determine materials requirements and installation procedures; test and repair circuits and sensors; drill holes for wiring in wall studs, joists, ceilings, or floors, splice electric cable, repair or replace electrical wiring, circuits, fixtures, or equipment; install electrical conduit or tubing; carry and climb ladders in a safe manner, etc.

Candidates must:

• Have at least 5-7 years experience in the security industry.
• Possesses excellent interpersonal, communication, and technical skills.
• Have a clean driving record
